Verb:
1. To destroy completely.
2. To pull up by the roots.

Synonyms:
eradicate – exterminate – uproot – destroy – root out

Example:

“I know it can be scary, but a quality home inspection will extirpate any fears buyers may have about the condition of your house. I suggest we enlist a reputable, thorough inspector.”
