obdurate

Pronounced: (OB-doo-rit, OB-dyoo-rit)

adjective:
1. Stubbornly refusing to change one’s opinion or course of action.
2. Hard-hearted: resistant to emotions.

Example:
“I wish I had better news, but the seller is completely obdurate on the topic of the concessions and price. Should we consider other houses, or are we willing to accept their terms?”
