Vacillate

Pronounced: (VASS-ih-late)

Verb:
1. be undecided about something; waver between conflicting positions or courses of action
2. move or sway in a rising and falling or wavelike pattern

Examples:
“It can be extremely frustrating when your buyer vacillates between wanting two completely different types of homes. Sometimes you need to have a conversation to help them refine their priorities.”

“We’ve seen home prices vacillate over the decades, with booms following busts.”
