Remote Shot: Control Your Phone Camera from a Distance

Remote Shot AppTip of the hat to the folks over at Addictive Tips for this handy free app for iOS and Android devices that lets you control your smartphone’s camera without having to hold it in your hand. Ever wanted to snap a picture of yourself or a group, but didn’t want to have that goofy “I held this with my own hand” look that so many online photos have? Remote Shot is the free app for you. It lets you control one device with another to snap your shot.

Using Bluetooth to pair to your device, Remote Shot gives you “complete control over the camera of the target device, including toggling between front and rear camera view, capturing images or videos, selection of flashlight mode, and triggering the self-timer or burst mode.”
