OGarden: The Future of Personal Produce?

OGarden logo. We’re always on the lookout for intriguing innovations in home design, and the OGarden is exactly the sort of idea which gets our gears turning. The promise? A “compact and fully automated” garden which “allows you to grow up to 90 vegetables at the same time throughout the year.”

Imagine living in a tiny urban apartment, yet having access to your very own vegetable garden. According to the designers, OGarden is “98% less polluting than a conventional agriculture,” and creates “no noise, no smell and no moisture.” The device itself is 29″ wide by 53″ high and frankly looks like it belongs in a space station.
